KOTRONOMAZOMATA 2026 – A FESTIVAL LIKE THE OLD DAYS

Another special event seems to be becoming established in our village by the active Cultural Association. “Mazomata” is an outdoor, winter, nomadic festival that combines walking in nature, cooking in old locations, and music with dancing. Thus, this year as well, on Sunday, February 8th, the "Kotronomazomata" took place at the "Kotroni tou Svokou" location, a place of exceptional natural beauty, with a panoramic view of the village and the iconic Kotroni dominating the bottom of the field. Continuing the tradition of recent years, the Association of All Homorites of Nafpaktia will hold on August 10, 2024, day Saturday and time 20:30 its main event «Homorites Gathering 2024» in the beautiful venue of the Cultural Center of our village.
With special enthusiasm and passion, the Association's administration has prepared a special folk-traditional music night, with live music, fun, dancing, and partying until the morning. The event catering by the master of the craft Giannis Antonopoulos, «Wind-swept Saddle». (more…)
