28η October 2025: Wood-fired Italian pizza with trachana, we say NO to the ordinary
Keeping his promise, the Cultural Association of Homorites Worldwide organized an autumn gastronomy festival again this year. Trahana had the place of honor. The first day's event, Sunday, October 26, began with the laying of wreaths in the rain at the War Memorial in the village square. About 80 people gathered in the courtyard of the coffee shop and put the ingredients in the cauldron: 20 liters of water from the Megali Vrysi, 5 kilos of trahana, butter, salt, and an oka of feta cheese. WITH GREAT SUCCESS THE “GATHERING OF HOMORITES FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD 2024”
With a very large turnout and great success, the event of the association “Antamωμα of All Homorites of Nafpaktia 2024” was organized on Saturday, August 10, at 8:30 in the evening, at the beautiful venue of the Lymbereion Cultural Center of Homora.
At the beginning of the event, the president of the Association, Babis Hantzis, welcomed all the members and friends of the Association and the village, and thanked them for their massive turnout. He particularly thanked those who helped and contributed to the success of the event. He also thanked the youth of the village, whose participation exceeded all expectations. (more…)
THE VILLAGE ASSOCIATION HALL
Από το 2016 λειτουργεί η αίθουσα του Συλλόγου “Ο Παιδότοπος” στην κεντρική πλατεία του χωριού μας. Οι μικροί μας φίλοι μπορούν να παίζουν με ασφάλεια, να διαβάζουν ή να πίνουν το αναψυκτικό τους και οι παππούδες, γιαγιάδες, γονείς και άλλοι συνοδοί τους να απολαμβάνουν το καφεδάκι ή το αναψυκτικό της αρεσκείας τους. Όλα τα προϊόντα είναι προσφορά των μελών του Συλλόγου και διανέμονται δωρεάν.
Εμείς στο Δ.Σ. θεωρούμε απαραίτητο και επιθυμούμε τα παιδάκια του χωριού μας να έχουν στο διάστημα που είναι στο χωριό μια δημιουργική απασχόληση. Η αίθουσα του Συλλόγου μας έχει εξοπλιστεί πλήρως και μπορεί να την παρέχει.Οι μεγάλοι να απολαμβάνουν τον καφέ τους ή το αναψυκτικό τους στον πανέμορφο εξωτερικό χώρο της αίθουσας και οι μικροί μας φίλοι με απόλυτη ασφάλεια μέσα στην αίθουσα να “δημιουργούν”. Όλα τα προϊόντα διατίθενται δωρεάν. Ευχαριστούμε τους δωρητές μας και μέλη του Συλλόγου John H Lymberis και Yiota Lymberis Petropoulos για την τόσο σημαντική οικονομική προσφορά τους. Ένας πανέμορφος παιδότοπος στη Χόμορη. Φυσικά τα καλοκαιρινά βραδάκια θα μπορουν να γίνονται μεζεδοκαταστάσεις, γλεντάκια και όμορφες μουσικές βραδιές. (more…)
